The Rockyford School has been in the community for five generations. A modernization of the building included replacing heating, plumbing, electrical wiring and furnishings. It once served as a grade one to twelve school, but at present is a kindergarten to grade nine school with a population of 31 students.
The village of Rockyford supplies about half the student body, and two school busses service the surrounding community. A unique feature of the school is the religious instruction offered in all grades as a result of the amalgamation with St. Rita's Catholic School many years ago.
