PCA students received the gift of giving

Each year Samaritan's Purse provides shoeboxes full of gifts for kids all around the world. This project is called Operation Christmas Child.

This past year, Canada supplied over 660,000 boxes and the global total was over 11,000,000!

PCA teacher Mr. Z, contacted Samaritan's Purse and organized an opportunity for grade 10 students to serve for one full day at the warehouse in Calgary. There were 26 students, including international students, who attended.

As they worked together, they diligently inspected a couple of hundred boxes and then enthusiastically put together 4704 boxes which will later be filled by other volunteers!

This was an opportunity for these students to be a direct link in bringing Christmas joy to thousands of children from all over the world.

They worked hard while making a huge impact in the lives of others!

We're proud of them and all they accomplished!
